Steps to Create a Partial Delivery
Step 1: Search for the Sales Order with Partial Delivery
Ideally, create the partial delivery while picking the initial order to avoid losing track. Since the order has already been dispatched:
Search for the order you're trying to set as partial.
Copy the Sales Order number to ensure you're creating the partial delivery for the correct sales order.
Step 2: Add a New Delivery
Navigate to Open Deliveries and click on Add Delivery.
Select Manual.
Paste the sales order number you copied from the initial delivery.
Include the Delivery number. A good practice is to take the original delivery name and append a number to it. For example, since the first part has already been sent, add a "2" to signify the second part of the partial order.
Click Add. A new partial delivery will be created.
At the top, you'll notice a new delivery number indicating it's a partial order for the same sales order.
Step 3: Populate the New Order
Add the product lines that are included in this partial delivery.
Take the product that wasn't included in the shipment from the initial order and complete the respective information in the warehouse.
Step 4: Enter Order and Delivery Details
Create the code by entering the following details:
- Code
- Quantity
- Units
- Price
- Total
2.. Once done, add the details, scan the number, and print the delivery.
Step 5: Dispatch the Delivery
After booking the transport, click on Dispatch Delivery to complete the process.
And that's it! You've successfully created a second partial delivery.
